EMOTIONAL WELLBEING GROUP THIS WEEK
This week, the Emotional Wellbeing group was learning about Obsessive Compulsive Behaviour, the impact on self and people around us, including treatment options.
If you would like to learn more about yourself and others please join our next session on Tuesday 15th January at 11:00 am, where we will discuss Phobias such as Claustrophobia and Agoraphobia.
The project aims to provide a safe, secure and culturally familiar environment for Armenians and those associated with them to share their personal experiences and examine the relationship between thoughts, feelings and behaviour patterns. Attendees will gain from mutual-support from their peers under the supervision of the group facilitator with the intent of supporting and promoting healing from emotional pain. Attendees should develop their self-awareness and consequently be able to stimulate their own growth in order to promote positive change.
There is also the opportunity to benefit from a limited amount of 1:1 sessions, engage in art therapy, learn about various aspects of health such as physical, mental, social and spiritual and practice mindfulness. We will also be organizing visits from external professionals to support the program and socialize in the form of events and a Christmas celebration.
If you would like further information or would like to attend please call Scarlet on 0780 960 8911 or email her directly at health@caia.org.uk.
