John Bezdikian

 

WW1 British War Medal

 

John Bezdikian was born in Cyprus, son of Sarkis Bezdikian.   Sarkis died in 1923 in London and it is unclear when the family moved to the UK.   From 1914-1920, like many other Armenians, John worked during and after WW1 as an interpreter at  Egyptian H.Q  and was awarded the Victory Medal. He died in Cyprus on 3rd March, 1989.
